CSU Girls U13 Breakers are Champions at the Hempfield Fall Classic!

Congratulations to the U13 CSU Breakers on their championship result at the Hempfield Fall Classic! The team overcame both stiff competition and Mother Nature to finish undefeated in the A1 division. Pictured here with their trophies which arrived earlier in the week, the Breakers finished their inaugural Fall season with a 12-4-4 record in all competitions including a semi-final league result and 2-Champion and 1-Finalist tournament results. Great start Coach Franco and players!

CSU Boys U12 Bayern Off to a Great Start!

Congrats to Coach Bill and our CSU Bayern U12 Boys on an incredible start to their season. The boys have gone undefeated in both of their early season tournaments. Coach Bill has focused on keeping the lines connected and creativity and combination play in the final 1/3. Keep up the good work boys!

CSU Girls U10 Lyon Start the 2017 Campaign on a positive note!

Congratulations to the CSU U10 Lyon team on their Finalist results in back to back weekends at King of Prussia Baxter Blast and at West-Mont Battle at Hilltop! The team finished both tournaments with well-derserved second place finishes. Both weekends had their challenges with the weather, but the U10 girls worked hard towards an overall 4-2-1 scoring 23 goals and allowing just under 2 goals a game. Great job Coach James and team on some positive results moving into the fall PAGS League!

Congratulations to the CSU U13 Breakers on their Finalist result at West-Mont Battle at Hilltop! The team finished 3-0 in group play of the second-flight against tough competition. The girls battled hard and overcame injuries to reach the finals. Their tremendous effort in the championship game fell just short by a score of 3-2. The team had a fun experience and enjoyed first-class support from their spectators. Great job Coach Franco and team on an good result!

CSU Boys U9 Arsenal takes second place in the KOPSC Danny B. Memorial tournament!

After a well played but tough first match, CSU Arsenal put together 5-0 and 3-0 wins to capture second place in the U9 age bracket at the King of Prussia Danny B. Memorial Tournament. Great performance from the players in their first tournament, especially holding two clean sheets in their afternoon fixtures. Thanks to all the parents, players, and coaches, who made this weekend possible!

The U10 (08) CSU boys finished 2-1 at the King of Prussia soccer tournament. The boys showed great improvement from the first to last game. The players had a great work rate and effort the entire weekend. Many players showed real strength in different positions. Overall, a great performance and good things to come. Well done boys!

Congratulations to the CSU 02 Integrity Girls on winning the EDP Summer Showcase!

The girls competed in the tournaments top division and went 3-0 in group play to earn a spot in the tournament championship on Sunday afternoon. The girls finished a very strong weekend by winning the championship game with an impressive 10-2 result! Congratulations to Coach Craig Reed and the CSU 02 Integrity on your championship weekend! Well done girls!

U10 Boys team ended the season with a 2-1 win over White Clay

The CSU U10 Boys team ended the season with a 2-1 win over White Clay.  The highlight of the spring season was winning the Quakertown Spring Tournament.  Congratulations Boys!

 

 

 


U11 Boys finish the season 5-1

Congrats to the U11 Boys for finishing their Spring season with an impressive 5-1 record.  The group displayed tremendous growth and improvement both individually and collectively as a team.  Looking forward to continued development in 2017/18!

 

 

 


The U11 Boys finished in 2nd place

The U11 Boys finished in 2nd place in their bracket at the Icebreaker Tournament in Mechanicsburg, PA.  After letting an early first game slip away, the team finished strong by winning their final two games of the tournament.  The team showed improvement throughout their first game action of the Spring by controlling the majority of possession, connecting on passes and finishing scoring chances.  It was a complete team effort!

CSU 2007 team wins over FC Europaimg_1548

Congratulations to Coach Chris and the CSU 2007 team for a big win on a warm day in late October. The boys have been working on combination play in the final 1/3 and it all came together on Sunday, October 30th. Congrats boys!

 

 

 


The U11 Juventus boys team wins again!

Picking up where they left off after a 2-week break from game action, the team won another thriller by the score of 2-1. They battled to 1-0 lead by halftime, before conceding an own goal early in the second half. The squad responded well and eventually took the lead for a good on a PK with less than five minutes remaining. It was a great team win!

Congratulations to the U11 Juventus Boys team for recording its first victory of the season in remarkable fashion! Down 0-3 at halftime on the road, the team erupted for four unanswered goals in the second half to win by a  final of 4-3. The team showed lots of character and resiliency in the comeback effort. Congrats and keep up the good work!

The Chester Springs United U-8 boys played their first three games this past weekend and the team looked great! Sporting their orange and black kits, the boys played tough and showed great skill! The team had a number of goals and goal-scorers! And most importantly, they had fun! The team is looking forward to more high-energy training sessions, and future scrimmages and friendlies.

 


CSU reaches the playoffs in their first event as a team

Chester Springs United took the field this past weekend at West Mont United’s “Battle at the Hilltop” and found themselves in the playoffs in their first event as a team. CSU’s U-10 Girls were the only team in this past weekend’s tournament and represented the club very well in a hard fought weekend where they found themselves going 3-0-1.IMG_1544

Milan U-10 girls (2007 birthdays and younger) did the CSU Family proud with a 1.25 goals given up per game while averaging 3.25 goals scored on offense (13 goals for and 6 against).

After defeating Methacton United 6-1 in their first contest, the Ladies came out focused in their second match to beat the eventual tournament Champion Penn Fusion 2-1 to finish the first day of the tournament with 2 wins and no losses.
The skies held back the rain, but again the ladies poured on the goals with a 3-2 win over tournament hosts West Mont United. The skies opened up to soak both teams in the final contest of the tournament against Penn Fusion. The 7v7 contest ended regulation with a score line of 2-2 forcing the physical and hard fought contest to penalty kicks. Penn Fusion came out the victorious after multiple saves from both team’s goal keepers to win the tournament.

Coach Le said of the team inaugural campaign, “It was a fantastic start for the girls and the CSU Family! We are excited about the team and this club and this gives us a real foundation to build our training sessions around. I am looking forward to a final push in training before our fall PAGS season kicks off!” CSU Milan will return to action on September 11th when their league play begins. The U-10 Girls for CSU will be seeing many of the same opponents they faced this past weekend and are excited about their chances moving forward! Congrats to the team and Coach Le on a great start to the season!


Chester Springs United Introduces U8 Academy

The purpose of our U8 (players born in 2010/2011) Academy is to give younger players the opportunity to receive professional coaching and training at a slightly reduced commitment and cost. Our U8 Academy teams will be coached by one of the Chester Springs United professional coaches. The emphasis for this age group will be advanced technical skills, 1v1 and 2v2 attacking and defending, ball striking, speed of play, and small sided matches. The goal of the U8 Academy is to develop very technical and creative players in a challenging and rewarding environment. All CSU U8 Academy players will receive their CSU Nike kits. The U8 Academy teams will play in a regular fall and spring league and participate in 2-3 tournaments throughout the year. The U8 Academy teams will also train 1x per week during the winter and play in a local indoor soccer league.
