Chris has joined the staff at Chester Springs United. The veteran college coach has coached at every level as a men’s and women’s head and/or assistant for NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA programs since 1991. Chris has also coached at the high school level, select youth programs, including serving as a Director of Coaching and Player Development for clubs in South/North Dakota and Minnesota, coaching with US Soccer, the Olympic Development Program, and was an international guest coach for Poland’s men’s national team and Under-21 squad.

Most recently, Chris spent the last seven seasons with the women’s soccer program at West Chester University as the assistant/goalkeeper coach. From 2009-2015, the goalkeepers at WCU have been ranked as some of the best in nation in goals against averages and shutouts while his goalkeepers have earned All-Conference, All-Region and All-American honors. Prior to West Chester, Chris was a Head Women’s Coach at the University Minnesota-Crookston for eight seasons. He has also been a Head Men’s Coach at Lambuth University (TN), Marycrest International University (IA) and Marietta College (OH). Chris was an assistant/goalkeeper coach at Illinois State University, Bowling Green State University (OH), and Wilmington College (OH).

A former goalkeeper, Chris has experience at the amateur, collegiate, and international levels. He played collegiately at Otterbein College in Ohio (1987-89) where he won two conference championships. He then traveled overseas and trained for one summer with Augustov and Olsztyn, club teams in Poland. From 1989-92, he played semi-professional with Edelweiss F.C., winning the Ohio men’s senior state cup championship in 1990 and competed at the U.S. senior national championships. In the spring and summer of 1992, Chris returned overseas to Spain and played with 3rd division Heriz F.C. and 2nd division San Fernando F.C.
