Franco strives to provide players with the best soccer experience possible by creating a fun yet competitive player-centered environment which focuses on long-term player development. His passion for the game and coaching philosophy results in his players falling in love with “the beautiful game.”

Franco began his head coaching career in 2011 at King of Prussia SC, where he later became the Director of Player Development, Girls. There his teams amassed a combined 33-7-10 record in all competitions, which included numerous league and tournament Champion and Finalist results. Franco joined CSU in 2016 as the head coach of the ‘06 Boys Juventus team. To date, Juventus results include two tournament Champion and two tournament Finalist finishes. In 2017, Franco became the Head Coach of the ‘05 Girls Breakers team. To date the Breakers have experienced immediate success during their inaugural season. Thus far, the Breakers have a 45-13-6 record in all competitions, including an EPYS Challenge Cup Finalist finish, 1st place EDP Premier League finish, and four tournament Champion results including Bethesda Premier Cup. Also, Franco is a Head Coach of 360 Soccer Summer Select and Futsal Academy teams.

Franco’s playing experience includes travel club play at KOPSC, high-school soccer at Upper Merion, where he received All-Suburban One League Honors in 1989, and collegiate play at Penn State University Ogontz Campus.

Franco truly considers himself a life-long student of the game. From watching his father play semi-pro soccer in Philadelphia as a child, to most recently acquiring a USSF C License, he seeks to continually improve his coaching skills by learning new and more creative ways to teach soccer.
