Steve has been playing and coaching most of his life. He has a passion for the game that carries over to practices, games, and his approach to life. Much of what we learn from the game of soccer transcends into almost every part of our life. If we are going to commit to doing something let’s commit to being the best that we can be. He loves helping players reach their goals and achieve more than they thought they ever could. He has a reputation for instilling good work habits, and above all having fun in everything he does (Always smiling). He currently coaches the 2006 and 2002-03 Chester Springs United Girls teams. He was named Regional Coach of the Year in 2008 after leading the FC Delco Fury to 5 State Championships, 3 Regional Championships, and 3 National Championship appearances. The FC Delco Fury was ranked nationally in the top 4 in the country 3 years in a row. He spent 15 years at FC Delco/Continental and has helped over 33 players achieve success at the DI, DII, and DII collegiate level. Schools such as Maryland, St. Joe’s, LaSalle, Loyola, Lehigh, Georgetown, Penn State, VA Tech, Gettysburg, St. John’s, UMASS, Providence, Tampa, Villanova, Lehigh, U of Del, Bucknell, Towson, South Carolina, Marquette, Liberty, Holy Cross, George Mason, Elizabethtown, Lafayette, etc..

Steve grew up in Scotia (NY), played at Villanova University and was the leading scorer in 1980. The 1980 Villanova squad still holds the record for most wins in a season with the 2017 squad. He has continued to play for Radnor Elite and as a team they accomplished National Runner up in 1999 at Over 30, and won National Championships in 2002, 2006 at Over 40, and winning additional titles at Over 50.
